Caught in the crosshairs when her lover falls victim to London’s dangerous criminal underworld, Helen’s employer asks Sam to protect her. Bingo, the owner of the guitar shop where Sam buys his guns, is played by Rat Scabies, a member of the classic punk band The Damned.
Black Doves turned out to be a very solid spy thriller
In Graham Norton I liked: Cher/Keira Knightley/Michael Fassbender/Josh Brolin/Jalen Ngonda (2024). I’m a big fan of this genre, so I went into it with high hopes, although I was skeptical that Keira Knightley would play a badass since she only weighs 100 pounds soaking wet.
I was wrong, she killed him
The same goes for Ben Whishaw, who also looks like he weighs 100 pounds. Both were completely believable in their roles.
I was hooked once I started watching
I had a blast watching it and watched all 6 episodes over the weekend. I’m glad they’re going to do a second season because one just isn’t enough.
